The last 50 years have shown us the power of tenacity. Of resilience and community. And, most of all, the power of opportunity when we choose to embrace it.
As we celebrate 50 years of The DRG’s journey, I am filled with gratitude for the remarkable milestones we – our clients, employees, and partners – have achieved together. But more than that, I look forward to those yet to come.
The next chapter of The DRG promises many more years of partnership, growth, and shared successes. Together, we will continue to embrace new opportunities as they come.
Finally, to our clients and employees: Thank you for sharing in this journey and allowing us to be part of yours. It is only because of you that our future shines so bright.

The DRG through the years
Bob Dieringer, Sr. opens the doors to R. Dieringer Research Associates in 1974. The company is based out of a 12' x 8' room in an office building in Milwaukee, WI.
The future was bright for this entrepreneur.
We officially become a full-service insights firm!
We add a focus group suite to our offices and also open our first on-site Call Center to meet expanding phone survey needs.
The next generation of Dieringers officially join the company as Bob's daughter, Lanie Johnson and son, Robert, Jr., are hired onto the team.
To reflect our growing staff and the breadth of our work, we change our name to The Dieringer Research Group, Inc. Our friends call us The DRG.
Bob Dieringer officially retires and hands the reins to Lanie (President) and Robert (SVP, CFO) to lead the company forward.
Our first online survey is launched in 2001, as well as our first online reporting applications later the same year.
With an eye on growth, we complete a few acquisitions, and we proudly become certified as a woman-owned business by WBENC.
We also open an impressive 4,000+ square foot focus group facility.
As we reflect on our last 50 years and look ahead to the next 50, we're reminded of the incredible power of sticking with it, bouncing back, and standing strong together. The future of The DRG is bright, promising more years of growth, and collaboration.
